Cooperation to Increase the Capacity of Religious Leaders

To increase the capacity of religious leaders in Central Sulawesi, Wahana Visi Indonesia collaborated with the Sigi Regency FKUB (Forum for Religious Harmony). This program aims to increase the capacity of religious leaders in promoting peace and tolerance as well as strengthening harmony for the welfare of children.

Taufik Taha (53), Head of the FKUB and WVI Cooperation Team said, “For me, this is the right partnership. We have the same goal. For us, with this collaboration, FKUB, which was previously unknown to the community and even the village government, is now becoming known.”

Not only for his institution, but personally, Taufik admits that he has gained a lot of new knowledge through training and collaboration with WVI. He, who is also a teacher, has gained the awareness to do more for children.

“I will try to create a harmonious environment in the school for children's growth and development, he added.

Taufik hopes that the cooperation between the two parties can continue to promote peace, especially in WVI service areas and in Sigi Regency.
