One Heart to Support Indonesian Children
Monday, April 25, 2022, is a historic day because after a long time of the pandemic Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) can get back to hold face-to-face meetings with major sponsors and circle of friends.
The Sehati Membangun Anak Indonesia (SEMAI) event was held with the initiative of Mr. Yozua and Ms. Dewi Makes, who also generously provided Patio (Plataran Group) as the venue for the event. Bapak Guntur Tampubolon (Board Chair), Ruddy Koesnadi (WV Academy), and Ibu Angelina Theodora (CEO & National Director) were also present at this event.
The story-sharing session about the program became the headline of the SEMAI event. Three of the WVI staff (Rika Oktaviana, Franz Sinaga dan Marthen Sambo) shared their personal journey and information about the clean water program in West Kalimantan, the waste management program in Jakarta, and the literacy program in Papua. Also, about 10 major sponsors attended the event which ran in a relaxed atmosphere.
The interactive discussion among the invited guests resulted in important suggestions for the progress of WVI's programs and services for children and assisted communities.
