WVI Supports the Lombok Government to Fight Against Covid-19
#BersamaMelawanCovid19 - It has been three months since Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) through Lombok Earthquake Emergency Response supported the government of North Lombok Regency and East Lombok Regency to fight against Covid-19 through Covid-19 pandemic emergency response.
The aim of the intervention is to alleviate the burden on the people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic because most people lose their jobs so that they difficult to meet family supplies.
The interventions are the distribution of food to 1,000 families of children under five years old, giving 500 hygiene kits given to people with Orang Dalam Pemantauan status and Orang Tanpa Gejala. In addition, WVI distributed 140 packages of personal protective equipment to health workers in Tanjung Health Center and KLU District Hospital.
Handwashing with soap facility also included in the intervention. About 52 handwashing facilities have been distributed in North Lombok Regency and East Lombok Regency.
WVI also made a preventive effort by promoting Covid-19 prevention by installing banners in 35 sub-villages in Sokong Village and Jenggala Village at North Lombok Regency. Besides that, the information related to the prevention of Covid-19 has been done by giving 4,502 stickers to the public.
