Church Leaders and Figures Concern about Covid-19

Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) Ende Program Area collaborates with the Archdiocese of Ende Tanggap Covid-19 to create a module as a guideline for preventing Covid-19 to the congregation community in every parish and station. This module aims to empower people in handling Covid-19 in the community (KUB).

The socialization of the module was carried out by the head of the church and the head of the KUB. Socialization is carried out so that everyone can understand the handling, causes, and transmission of Covid-19. Patrisia Sombo is one of the beneficiaries who get the information.

According to Patrisia, the information was new knowledge for her. However, now she and her family understand how to deal with Covid-19 if one of the family is infected.

"We also received dissemination about how to maintain cleanliness for family members, and our children received education on ways to prevent Covid-19, be it cough etiquette, use of masks and how to wash hands with proper and correct soap," explained Patrisia.

She is grateful to know this kind of thing, especially to not give a bad stigma to people infected with Covid-19.

"Thank you WVI, and the Keusukupan Team for providing information and socialization to us, the basic community," she concluded.
