Donate Hygiene Kit, WVI Supports Actions to Prevent Covid-19 in This Region
Nagekeo-Ngada Area Program of Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) is participating in the efforts of the Nagekeo and Ngada Regency governments to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the two areas. One of the efforts made is to assist with health equipment and hygiene kit packages for seven health facilities located in the Ngada and Nagekeo Regencies.
One of the health facilities that received this donation is the Aeramo Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in Nagekeo Regency, which is a referral hospital for Covid-19 patients in the Nagekeo Regency area. About 110 hygiene packages, PPE, thousands of medical masks, and health equipment were given to this hospital.
"We thank WVI for always paying attention to every effort to prevent Covid-19 and recover Covid-19 survivors in Nagekeo. The PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and BHP (Consumables) packages that we received today helped the work and services of 246 health workers working in this hospital," said Sandro, Head of Administration at Aeramo RSU representing the hospital.
In addition to the Aeramo Hospital, WVI also distributed hygiene packages and PPE in six other health facilities. This donation is a form of WVI's concern through the Covid-19 second phase emergency response (SCOPE), which focuses on residents and health workers who are on the front lines.
